Introduced back in 2007, the Smida Screw has proved its safety and effectiveness to treat the Slipped Capita Femoral Epiphysis (SCFE) thanks to its original self-telescoping feature. The improved second generation is now presented in one single diameter of 8 mm, and has an adjustable length from length of 50 and 100 mm.

The Smida Screw is rotationally stable and does not require an accurate pre-planning as the length can be adjusted to 0.3 mm intraoperatively.
